Nigerian Senate, Defection Continues! APC, PDP Lose Two Senators to NNPP, LP

The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, commenced a seven-week annual recess.

This followed the adjournment of the plenary, on Wednesday by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, till September 20, 2022.

It came same day opposition parties’ senators issued a seven weeks ultimatum to President Muhammadu Buhari to address the rising rate of insecurity of face Impeachment.
