Atiku Congratulates Maikyau Ohonoko on Election as NBA President

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has congratulated the newly elected President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Maikyau Yakubu Ohonoko, SAN.

Atiku, in a press statement by his media office on Monday said that the emergence of Ohonoko as the President of the NBA is a continuation of his service in activism to the course of the Bar.

 

Atiku notes that the new NBA chairman is an acknowledged activist whose experience will reflect positively on his new role.

 

“I am pleased to rejoice with all members of the Nigerian Bar Association on the emergence of Maikyau Ohonoko, SAN as the new chairman of the NBA.

“I am even more pleased that the new chairman has been an active participant in Bar activities and activism and it is not in doubt that his experience will come to bear in upping the bar for lawyers in the country.”

 

Atiku wishes the new chairman a successful tenure and prays for wisdom and forthrightness for him to carry on with his new assignment.
