The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, on Tuesday, congratulated a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a statement he personally signed, the Governor also felicitated with Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu, wife of the celebrant, who shares same birthday with the ex-Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Edo State Government.
Obaseki said: “I heartily congratulate you, my brother, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and your dear wife, Idia, as you celebrate your birthdays.
“As a clergyman and politician, you continue to serve the people and I pray that God will strengthen you to continue your service in God’s vineyard and other areas of human endeavour.
“I also congratulate your wife, Mrs. Idia Ize-Iyamu, a minister of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and a Professor at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), who shares the same birthday.
“I pray that God will grant you both more years of service to humanity.”
