Former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, arrived the Southwestern state, days after winning the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 general elections.
Tinubu arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala International Airport (MIA) at exactly 3:30pm on Sunday.
He was received to a rousing welcome from hundreds of party supporters before heading to the Palace of the Oba of Lagos.
The APC presidential candidate arrived in the company of the governors of Kano and Imo states, Abdullahi Ganduje and Hope Uzodimma respectively.
Also on the team were a former governor of Borno State and the Tinubu Campaign spokesman, Senator Ahmed Shettima, as well as some party leaders at the national level also accompanied the ex-Lagos governor.
