A former Administrator of Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mr. Samuel Alumka, is dead. He died in an autocrash today.
According to reports, Alumka died on his way to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) special convention in Abuja.
Alumka, who is an aide to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, met his untimely death in Gwagwalada in a fatal motor accident.
He contested the House of Assembly election for Bassa State constituency but lost to his opponent.
A family source told newsmen that his remains are being transported to his country home in Bassa Local Government.
