Folajimi Mohammed, son of Minister of Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for Lagos State House of Assembly.
Folajimi, who represents Ikeja State Constituency 1, failed to secure his re-election ticket in the APC primary held on Friday.
The Minister’s son is representing the constituency for the second time.
While Folajimi polled nine votes in the election, his rival, Seyi Lawal, garnered 15 votes.
Meanwhile, the minister’s son was reportedly attacked by his constituents earlier before the primaries.
