Armed men believed to be terrorists have again attacked some parts of Kagoro in Southern part of Kaduna State sending at least 20 persons to their early graves.

The attack which started just before 8pm Sunday, went on late into the night as many people had to scamper into the bush to escape being shot or burnt alive by the rampaging terrorists.

As early as 8pm Sunday a source who escaped into the bush sent a Save our Soul (SOS) message to his church colleagues in Kaduna town to “please pray for us in Kagoro.

“We’re under siege. Right now an unexpected battle is going on, we’re under cover in the nearby bushes. They are shooting our people again.

The source told metrowatchxtra.com

that the aftermath of the attack by first light was devastating as over 20 corpses were counted by eye witnesses some roasted to death in their makeshift homes.

” Please pray again for God to expose the conspirators and dangerous informants amongst us, because some of them were said to have participated in the operations last night.” Said the source while narrating how he escaped death narrowly.

Apart from the 20 corpses, counted on the ground at first light before the security agents came to the rescue of the people, others were said to have died while in the hospital following injuries they sustained from the gunshots of bandits now named terrorists by the federal government.

The entire Adan village was said to have been razed down with some families burnt down alive.

metrowatchxtra.com learnt that, the bandits have been frustrated about the fact that they tried twice to raze down the communities but failed on the two occasions.

This time around, they came in very large numbers, more armed, to counter the local security architecture of the area and achieved their aim before they could be repelled from the area.

Attempts to get the kaduna state police command spokesman Mohammed Jalige, to speak over the sad incident, was futile, as he was not reachable on phone.
