She was specially nominated in the Music in Africa categories alongside other leading musicians from the continent.

“Sincerely, these nominations are a huge plus to my career. In fact, I was overwhelmed when I saw my name among the nominees in three different categories alongside other global music icons. It came to me as a huge shock and surprise. I thank God for the inspiration and equally thank the organisers for honouring me with the nominations,” she gushes.

“It is also a sign that my music is being appreciated all over the world and that will make me work harder as a recording artist”, she added amid smiles.

Aside Alu, some Nollywood and Ghollywood stars were also recognised and rewarded at the event, which held recently amid glitz and glamour.
