The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has extended voting in the Anambra State Governorship election to Sunday.
This follows reports of massive failure of the newly introduced Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, across polling units in the State.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Anambra State, Dr. Nkwachukwu Orji, made the disclosure at the INEC head office in Awka.
INEC had earlier extended the voting process from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and then till 4pm.
