NYSC Releases Call- Letters for 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II

The call-up numbers and deployment details were uploaded on the NYSC portal early Monday morning

The National Youth Service Corps has released call-up letters for prospective corps members in the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II.

The call-up numbers and deployment details were uploaded on the NYSC portal early Monday morning.

Confirmations from prospective corps members also indicated that the portal became active in the early hours, though many users experienced difficulty accessing it due to heavy traffic.

“There is traffic,” one prospective corps member said, describing delays while attempting to log in and check deployment status.

Across social media, several candidates complained about slow access, late release, and concerns over their states of deployment.

PCMs can check their call-up letters here: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/ or https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/

The release comes days after NYSC announced the timetable for the orientation exercise.

According to a statement signed by its spokesperson, Caroline Embu, the orientation course will begin on April 22 nationwide.

“The Orientation Course will commence with reception and registration of Prospective Corps Members on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026, and end at midnight of Friday, 24th April 2026,” the statement read.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for April 24, while the orientation exercise will run until May 12.

The scheme also advised prospective corps members to prioritise their safety while travelling, warning against night journeys.

“Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it’s 6.00 pm… and continue the following morning,” it stated.

The development marks the final phase of mobilisation as thousands of graduates prepare to begin the mandatory national service, as reported by Punch.
