I Have Never Seen Injustice Like This, Kashim Imam Blows Hot, Ends 36-year Friendship With Tinubu (Video)

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kashim Imam, has ended his 36-year friendship with President Bola Tinubu.

Imam announced the end of his friendship with Tinubu in a post via 𝕏, stating that his decision was guided by conscience and faith.

While criticising Tinubu’s government, Imam, who serves as Chairman of ADC Membership Registration and Revalidation and North East ADC National Leader, described it as an injustice never witnessed since the creation of Nigeria.

He argued that Nigeria is not poor but is suffering from poor leadership.

He said, “I was a close ally of Tinubu for 36 years, but today I decided to part ways with him out of fear of God and a rejection of injustice. Since the creation of Nigeria, I have never seen injustice like this one.

“I now support Atiku Abubakar in the pursuit of justice and the rescue of the nation. There’s abundance of wealth in this country. If you go to every state, there’s wealth: hidden or seen. Our major problem is injustice from our leaders, and there has never been injustice like there is now.”

Imam also dismissed the political influence of governors, insisting that power ultimately rests with ordinary Nigerians and they will do the right thing in the next election.

He added, “As Sardauna said, if all the Nigerian governors would support Tinubu, it would not change anything. Governors do not vote. The poor hold the vote. This time, the poor are searching for their rights. They are aware of leaders that are for them, and the wicked ones.”
