The Edo State Government has announced that the monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise will be observed across the state on Saturday 27th December, 2025.
This was contained in a statement issued on Friday by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), in Benin City.
However, in consideration of the Yuletide season, government said there will be no restriction of movement during the exercise.
“Despite this, residents of Edo State are encouraged to clean their immediate surroundings and maintain a hygienic environment in order to keep the State free from dirt and activities capable of defacing its outlook,” the statement added.
The Edo State Government reiterated its commitment to ensuring a clean, healthy and safe environment for all residents.
