Billionaire business man and chairman of the Governing Council of Kashim Ibrahim University Alhaji Mohammed Indimi has bagged a honorary doctor of Law LL.D degree from the Adamawa State University Mubi.

Indimi who is also the Chairman of Oriental Energy Resources, got the honorary Doctor of Laws (LL.D) in recognition of his significant contributions to education, philanthropy, and national development.

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, was a special guest of honour at the award which took place during the 15th, 16th, and 17th Combined Convocation Ceremony of Adamawa State University in Mubi, held over the weekend.

Governor Zulum alongside the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmodu Fintiri and the visitor to the University graced the important event in the Nigerian border town of Mubi.

The Governor was accompanied by a distinguished delegation, which included the Shehu of Borno, Dr Abubakar Garbai El-Amin El-Kanemi; Deputy Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Abdulhai Askira; the Vice-Chancellors of University of Maiduguri, and Kashim Ibrahim University Professors Mohammed Mele and Babagana Gutti.

The honour was awarded in recognition of his significant contributions to education, philanthropy, and national development.
