“Prince Bisi Olatilo embodies the very high values and sterling qualities of the quintessential Nigerian broadcaster such as creativity, integrity, excellence and patriotism”.

This statement was made in Lagos a few days ago by Olorogun (Dr) Peter Igho, National Coordinator of the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC) Goodwill Ambassadors of Age-friendly services and Elder Justice advocacy with many other Goodwill Ambassadors from all over the country in attendance.

Jaafar Bala Farouq, in a statement, said the goodwill ambassadors came together to support one of their own, Prince Bisi Olatilo, who was celebrating 50 years in broadcasting and 25 years of the “Bisi Olatilo Show” at MUSON Centre.

Speaking at the event, which was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, traditional rulers, captains of industry and many others, Dr Igho described Prince Bisi Olatilo as a true reflection of what the NSSC led by its Director General Dr Emem Omokaro have always promoted – which is the continued engagement of Senior Citizens and pursuit of genuine contributions to society while also training a new generation of young broadcasters.

He assured Prince Bisi Olatilo of the support of all the Goodwill Ambassadors across the country and wished him many more years of excellence and dedicated service to Nigeria and the world at large.

Olorogun Peter Igho was accompanied to the event by veteran broadcasters and journalists – Mrs Bimbo Oloyede, Mr Soni Irabor, Dr Danladi Bako OON, Alhaji Waheed Olagunju, Chief Tony Okoroji, Gboyega Adelaja, Bayo Awosemo, Chief Edwin Igbokwe, Tony Akposheri and Patrick Doyle.
