The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) has urged the Nigerian private sector to heed President Bola Tinubu’s call for collaboration in reviving the country’s economy.

President Tinubu had at the 30th Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) summit in Abuja canvassed for the cooperation of the private sector, international partners and government agencies towards driving the country’s economic growth.

TMV Chairman Chukwudi Enekwechi and Secretary Shedrach Gyungoun said the call has become necessary especially as the Tinubu administration is laying a solid foundation for the sustainable growth and development of the country.

We believe that the private sector has a pivotal role to play in this regard. We therefore call on the private sector to apply measures that will enhance productivity and job creation in Nigeria.

It is also pertinent to note that with the enabling environment being created by the federal government, the private sector can generate more returns on their investment by engaging in export-related ventures.

“We want to urge the private sector to position themselves well to tap into the infrastructural renewal being carried out under this administration.

“They include infrastructural projects like roads, railways and power. Definitely these projects when completed will stimulate the economy, and bring abundant yield on their investments.

“We also appeal to the private sector to play a complimentary role by adding value to the overall economic development of the country.

It is our candid view that if the private sector, international partners, and government agencies heed the President’s clarion call for collaboration, it will result to a shared prosperity for all as enunciated in the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
