Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has accused Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara of anti-party actions.

According to Wike, Fubara aided the Action Peoples Party, or APP, in sweeping the chairmanship post in the state’s just-finished local government election.

The Minister spoke on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Tuesday, maintaining that he had never been involved in anti-party activity.

Prior to the election, Wike and Fubara have been at loggerheads over control of the political structure in the state.

However, Wike said: “Today people say discipline Wike because he did anti-party, but I say that I did not do anti-party.

“Today, what happened? The governor sponsored APP and Bala Mohammed was the one who attended the swearing-in of the APP Chairmen.

“I said I wouldn’t support injustice and I have no apology to render to anybody because PDP had agreed on what to do but he refused.”
