Less than 48 hours before Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Edo State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun distributing sensitive documents to the state’s several local government areas.

The State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Dr. Onuoha Anugbum, informed Newsmen on Thursday at the Benin branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, that the materials will be given to the state’s 18 local government areas.

According to Anugbum, the distribution comes ahead of the State’s governorship election on Saturday, September 21.

The distribution process is being done in the premises of the Central Bank of Nigeria, located at the Ring Road, by Akpakpava Junction.

The distribution is taking place at the Central Bank of Nigeria’s office, which is located on the Ring Road near Akpakpava Junction.

Scores of commercial buses hired by INEC can be seen lined up on the bank side of the road.
