Senator Monday Okpebholo on Wednesday commiserated with the entire Catholic Family in Nigeria, particularly those in Archdiocese of Benin City, over the passing away of Emeritus Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Benin, Most Rev. Dr. Patrick Ebosele Ekpu.

The Senator described the late Emeritus Archbishop as a humble and dedicated servant of the Lord, who spent his time on earth serving humanity, especially in helping the poor and needy.

Senator Okpebholo commends the contributions of Archbishop Ekpu to the growth of the Catholic Church in Nigeria, and his tireless efforts in promoting peace, love and unity in all his engagements across the country.
