Senator Okpebholo Hails Pius Odubu on 67th Birthday | METROWATCH

The Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, popularly known as Akpakomiza, has hailed Dr Pius Egberanmwen Odubu on the occasion of his 67th birthday.

In a statement on Monday in Benin City, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the September 21, 2024 governorship election in Edo State, described Dr. Odubu as an illustrious son of Edo State whose service as Deputy Governor of the State for eight years in the administration of Senator Adams Oshiomhole delivered historic growth and development.

“Dr Pius Odubu has been a defender of the downtrodden in Edo State, whether in his immediate constituency through effective representation in government, or across the state.

“We are proud of him for the life he has lived, the achievements he has recorded, and for the innumerable contributions he will yet input to the collective task of creating Edo of our shared aspiration.

“Okakuo of the universe, as you are fondly called by those of us who are your admirers, we’re grateful for your service and statesmanship.

“As we celebrate you today, I pray that the Almighty God renews your strength, protect you, and bless you with long life in good health,” says Senator Okpebholo.
