President Joe Biden’s policies, according to former US President Donald Trump, are killing Americans.
Trump emphasized that the US inflation rate is quite high and said that Biden has not managed the country’s economy well. He said this during the CNN-hosted US presidential debate in the early hours of Friday in Atlanta, Georgia.
The former president claimed that in the run-up to November’s presidential election, growing costs of living and pricing increases had taken center stage.
According to Trump: “He has not done a good job. He’s done a poor job.
“And inflation is killing our country. It is absolutely killing us.
“I gave him a country with essentially no inflation. It was perfect. It was so good, all he had to do was leave it alone. He destroyed it.”
