Minimum wage

By Seyi Babalola

The Nigerian Government has raised the offer of a new national minimum wage to N62,000.

This comes after organized labour reduced their demand from N494,000 to N250,000.

The Tripartite Committee on the New National Minimum Wage adjourned due to a lack of unanimity during the meeting.

The organized private sector also agrees with the government over the N62,000 offer.
