Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was crowned Premier League Manager of the Year on Tuesday.

Guardiola beat Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery, Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola, and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp.

This comes after he led the Etihad team to a historic fourth consecutive title.

Guardiola has previously won the award four times since he joined the club in 2016.

With six league titles, Guardiola is now the joint second-most successful coach in English football history.

Only former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has won the award more times (11).
