
Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, on Thursday, February 29, delivered a lecture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar on the sidelines of President Tinubu’s State visit.
Maitama Tuggar made this known in a statement on his X handle on Thursday.
He wrote: “I had an enriching time speaking at the Diplomatic Institute of #MofaQatar_EN on the sidelines of President Tinubu’s State visit to the State of Qatar.
“I was honoured to receive an award of recognition from Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Horr.
“During my lecture, I highlighted Qatar and Nigeria’s pivotal roles in the global energy landscape. While Qatar boasts the world’s third-largest gas reserves, Nigeria being Africa’s top oil producer is also rich in gas, with reserves totaling 208TCF.
“Strategic partnerships between Qatar and Nigeria in major gas projects will drive economic growth and foster diplomatic cooperation and stability.”
