Zaidu Sanusi is now expected to start for Nigeria against the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final after getting back to full training on Friday night.
An injury kept Sanusi out of Nigeria’s semi-final matchup with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
At the Police College Cocody in Abidjan, the FC Porto defender took part in every training exercise.
William Troost-Ekong and Victor Osimhen, in the meantime, did not take part in the training.
After getting some rest, the pair is anticipated to participate in the last session on Saturday (today).
The Super Eagles will face the hosts at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Sunday.
