Following a two-week private tour to France, President Bola Tinubu has finally returned to Nigeria.

Tuesday night, the president’s aircraft landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

Tinubu was greeted by his chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; national security adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and secretary to the government of the Federation, George Akume.

Metrowatchxtra.com reports that opposition parties have tackled the president for allegedly abandoning the country amid the security and economic crises ravaging the nation.

A few opposition leaders feel that the president had no business going on a private tour at a time when the nation was in dire straits.
