Opposition political parties have been instructed by the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) to provide long-term solutions to the nation’s problems instead of just voicing grievances.
The appeal was made by APC spokesperson Felix Morka on Tuesday during an appearance on Politics Today on Channels Television.
He bemoaned that one of their worries is that the opposition did not only focus on condemnation, emphasizing that condemnation alone was insufficient.
According to him, “the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and the Labour Party, LP, also campaigned to undertake some of the reforms the President Bola Tinubu government is undertaking.”
He said that the government was aware of the challenges facing Nigerians and called for patience, noting that the Tinubu administration was new.
He added, “This government is not one year. We are a few months old. Look at the inputs under this government. The bold steps they have taken to tackle these fundamental problems.”
