
The enforcement team of the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has demolished illegal structures built by street traders at Freedom Way, Lekki Phase 1.
Spokesman for the ministry, Kunle Adeshina, made this known on his X page on Wednesday, stating that the exercise took place on Tuesday night.
Sharing photos from the demolition, Adeshina wrote, “Environmental monitoring/enforcement team from MOE&WR on night duty Tuesday at Freedom Way in Lekki phase one to demolish illegal structures by street traders on the roadside.”
