JUST IN | ex-Works Minister, Mike Onolememen Dumps PDP in Edo | METROWATCH

•Mike Onolememen

By Ogochukwu Isioma

A former Minister of Works, Chief Mike Oziegbe Onolememen, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State.

In a letter seen by METROWATCHXTRA on Monday, the former Minister of State for Defense said he was leaving the PDP over the “protracted conflict” rocking the party.

The letter was addressed to Chairman of the party in his (Onolememen’s) Ward 4, Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo, Michael Eromonsele.

Onolememen, who has been a founding member of the PDP since 1998, however, failed to disclose his next political party.

Onolememen is just one out of the many party chieftains who have dumped the PDP ahead of next year’s Edo governorship election over the internal crisis rocking the party.
