President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has restructured and created new federal ministries, METROWATCHXTRA.COM reports.

Among the restructured ministries split into separate ministries include the Ministries of Youth, Sports, Works, Tourism and Steel Development.

Full List of newly created and restructured Ministries:

-Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy

-Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management

-Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology

– Ministry of Works

-Ministry of Tourism

-Ministry of Gas Resources

Ministry of Water resources and Sanitation

Ministry of Art, Culture and Creative Economy

-Ministry of Housing and Urban Development

-Ministry of Steel Development

-Ministry of Youth

-Ministry of Sports.

Recall that President Tinubu on Wednesday evening assigned portfolios to the new Ministers who were recently screened by the National Assembly (Senate).

It was, however, observed that the portfolio of Minister of Environment and Ecological Management was not assigned, but reserved for Kaduna State when a replacement will be made for former governor Nasir el-Rufai whose nomination was ‘rejected’ by the Senate.

Similarly, Ministers are yet to be assigned for the Ministries of Niger Delta Affairs and Petroleum Resources. Like his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, it is widely speculated that Tinubu may likely assume the Minister of Petroleum Resources’ role as President.
