Akon, the Senegalese-American artist, has chosen a favorite from two of the biggest active African performers, Davido and Burna Boy.
Akon was asked to select between Davido and Burna Boy on the Drink Champs podcast, co-hosted by N.O.R.E and DJ EFN, and he chose Davido without hesitation.
Akon stated that he chose Davido because he is a “beast.”
He believes the ‘Unavailable’ singer deserves more recognition than he is currently receiving.
“Oh!” he exclaimed. I’m going to go with Davido. Oh! That boy over there, David, is a beast. He is the monster.
“He is another one I think that deserves more flowers than he’s received.”
