Omoyele Sowore, a human rights campaigner, has slammed President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Tinubu’s administration, according to Sowore, is one of “renewed shege.”

He made the comment in response to Tinubu’s proposal to offer six months of palliative care to Nigerians.

Tweeting, Sowore wrote: “The govt of #RenewedShege! So, @officialABAT is going to provide palliative of N53 per day for 6 months?

“Jokes carried too far! These guys don’t rate Nigerians! #Revolutionnow.”

Tinubu had previously announced intentions to send N8,000 to the country’s 12 million underprivileged households.

He stated that the funds will be transferred to impoverished Nigerians within the next six months.

The president’s proposal was stated in a letter to the House of Representatives on former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration’s loan request of 800 million dollars for the social safety net program.

He pleaded with the House of Representatives to approve the loan.
