In November, the Super Eagles will begin their quest for a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The three-time African champions will compete for a berth in the World Cup against South Africa, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Lesotho.

The Super Eagles will play their first two qualifiers between November 13 and November 21.

The third and fourth qualification matches will take place between June 3 and 11, 2024.

The group’s last six rounds of matches will be contested between March and October 2025.

The Super Eagles will play a total of ten matches in the group.

The group’s top team will get automatic qualifying for the quadrennial event, which will be hosted by the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico.

Nigeria failed to qualify for the most recent World Cup, which was hosted by Qatar.

In the playoffs, the three-time African champions were defeated by long-time rivals Ghana.
