The Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the dissolution of the state Board of Internal Revenue Service with immediate effect.
The dissolution was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, on Monday in Asaba.
The statement directed the chairman and the members of the board to hand over all government properties in their possession to the most senior career officer in the establishment.
METROWATCHXTRA.COM understands that the state Deputy Governor, Mr Monday Onyeme, was hitherto the chairman of the board before he resigned to contest the Delta 2023 governorship election.
