Former President Muhammadu Buhari, in line with chapter six of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), has submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

A statement on Sunday by former Senior Special Assistant to the immediate past President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said Buhari recorded zero debts but the animals in his farm decreased.

According to him, Buhari, during his eight years in office as Nigerian leader, added no bank account to the single one he had before becoming president, neither did his moveable assets both home and abroad increase.

Shehu said, “The completed declaration shows that his (Buhari’s) movable assets did not increase, at home in Nigeria or outside the country and did not add new bank accounts outside the only one he had in Union Bank, Kaduna.

“He has taken no loans and has no liability and the number of animals on his farm recorded a little decrease due to the number he gave out as gifts in the last four years.”
