Former Imo State Governor, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha has announced the passing of his mother, Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha.
Ihedioha, in a statement issued on Friday, on behalf of the family, said Mrs Dorothy passed away on 20th April in Abuja, with her family by her side, at age 90.
The former governor described the late mother as one who lived a fruitful and eventful life of God’s abundant mercies and grace.
Ihedioha called for prayers for the deceased family in this moment of grief, while thanking friends and well-wishers who identified with the Ihediohas, particularly during their mother’s last days.
He added that funeral arrangements would be announced in due course.
Mrs Ihedioha celebrated her 90th birthday on 28th August 2022.
