The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, as the winner of the March 18, 2023 Benue State governorship election.
According to INEC, the Catholic priest polled 473,933 votes to defeat his closest rival and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Titus Uba, who scored 223,913.
