The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abidoun and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have lost their Ikenne local government area to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections.

In the results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the March 18 governorship election, from the Ikenne LGA, Osinbajo and Abiodun’s All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 9,133 votes, while PDP had 12,472 votes.

At the Ogun governor’s polling unit, Abidoun, who is among the 11 incumbent governors seeking re-election across the federation, polled 147 votes ahead of PDP’s Adebutu who garnered 142 votes.
