BREAKING: I will address Nigerians shortly, Obi breaks silence

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the just concluded last Saturday 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, has broken his silence following the outcome of the polls.

Taking to his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday, Obi said he will address Nigerians shortly.

“Our Vice presidential candidate Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is addressing an international press conference at the Labour Party Headquarters in Abuja. I intend to address Nigerians and the international community shortly. – PO”, he wrote.

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, on Wednesday, in Abuja, declared Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of the February 25, 2023 presidential election with 8,794,726 votes.

Tinubu defeated his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 6,984,520 votes, with Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) coming third with 6,101,533 votes, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) taking fourth place with 1,496,687 votes.
