Senate spokesperson, Ajibola Bashiru, who contested on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), has lost his Osun Central seat to candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olubiyi Fadeyi.
The result was announced at Coalition Center in Olohunkoro area in Osogbo capital of Osun.
Bashiru, who polled 117,609 votes, lost to Fadeyi who garnered 134,229.
