In the event that Pep Guardiola departs the Etihad Stadium at the conclusion of the current campaign, Manchester City is allegedly contemplating Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal.

Man City, according to Four Four Two, is a major fan of the work Arteta has done thus far at Arsenal.

Arteta is seen by Man City as the ideal successor to Guardiola.

Arteta spent more than three years as Guardiola’s assistant at Man City before taking over as manager at Arsenal.

Following a Premier League investigation into possible financial rule violations, the Citizens are currently experiencing a time of uncertainty.

The situation has put Guardiola’s position at the club in serious doubt.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona head coach had previously made it clear earlier that he would leave Man City if it was proven that the club had lied to him.

Guardiola is unlikely to remain in charge of Man City beyond this season as Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make an offer for the Spaniard if he decides to quit the Premier League champions.
