FA Cup: Iheanacho’s goal sends Leicester City through to fifth round

Leicester City

Kelechi Iheanacho was the hero once again as Leicester City defeated League Two club, Walsall 1-0 to seal a place in the Emirates FA Cup fifth round.

The Nigeria international scored the winning goal in the Foxes 1-0 win against Gillingham in the previous round.

Iheanacho started the game on the bench and took the place of Zambia international, Patson Daka on 63 minutes.

Five minutes later, the striker fired home the winning goal from 20-yards.

Iheanacho’s shot took a wicked deflection off Brandon Comley to sail into the net.

The 26-year-old has now scored 17 goals in 23 FA Cup appearances.

His compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi missed the game due to injury.
