BREAKING: PDP BoT Chair Resigns, Ex-Senate President Takes Over

The chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Walid Jibrin has resigned from his position.

Jibrin made this position known at the ongoing National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the party in Abuja, metrowatchxtra reports.

Former President of the Senate, Senator Adolphus Wabara (South East), has, therefore, been named Acting Chairman of the party’s BoT.

Jibrin who had few months left to serve as BoT chair had complained about the lopsidedness in the party’s hierarchy following the emergence of Atiku Abubakar, a fellow northerner as presidential candidate.
