Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Daniel Bwala as one of his campaign spokespersons.
The ex-vice president also appointed Senator Dino Melaye, who until recently represented Kogi West district in the National Assembly on the PDP platform.
Bwala, who dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the PDP a few weeks ago, was a legal aide to the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.
A statement released on Thursday by the Media Adviser to Atiku, Mazi Paul Ibe, said the two appointments take immediate effect.
