A former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Lucky Imasuen, has lost his bid to represent the people of Edo South Senatorial District in next year’s general elections.
Imasuen lost the ruling All Progressives Congress’ senatorial ticket to Mr. Valentine Asuen, popularly called DVD, a former Youth Leader of the APC in Edo state.
While Asuen polled 216 delegates votes at the primary election held in Benin City, Imasuen managed to garner 159 votes.
