OPEC Secretary- General and Chief.Coordinator of the 23 member nations OPEC+, HE Dr Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, is in Houston for the CERA Week.
The Cambridge Energy Research Associates ( CERA) Week is a yearly meeting point for energy leaders, experts, ministers, exhibitors, among others, for discussing energy and related issues.
Barkindo, who arrived Saturday joins other energy industry leaders for the five-day event starting Monday.
This year’s theme is “pace of change: energy, climate and innovation” which addresses the challenges and opportunities of reducing emissions while supplying the needs of a growing economy.
Barkindo, a global energy industry leader, will, on Wednesday, be a guest speaker at the Nigeria Energy Forum holding in Houston.
The OPEC Chief will also engage key industry players in addition to having bilateral meetings with some government representatives.
